You guys haven't heard from me since Christmas because I was in the trenches of battle over finishing and defending my doctorate in art history.  As of last Friday, I have successfully orally defended a 572-page piece of art historical scholarship.  I am now a PhD, though the diploma is not officially bestowed until May, when FINAL final revisions are completed.  

I'm only teasing, though, nobody has to call me DR. Amber, lolol. Just Amber is fine. I'm not a snob XD

This accomplishment was hard-earned, and I am honestly proud of it, but it was also only possible with the support of God, family, and good friends. Thanks to all of you, who know who you are.  

I will begin teaching at the college level soon. This means that a season of my life has passed and you may not see me as often as you used to.  However, I will try very hard to continue to post doodles and sketches and photographs on this gallery.
