I remain forever convinced that Rezo was always in certain ways utterly dependent upon Zelgadiss, his solidity, loyalty, and pragmatism.

In an rpg now going on three years, Rezo has been revived, eyes opened, free of Shabranigdo, but as a kind of cosmic ironic penance for what he was driven to do while possessed by the demon, he still cannot see. However he manages to apologize to Zelgadiss by, with Amelia's help, curing him. So as they gradually mend their relationship, he remains quietly dependent upon his great-grandson. This very simple portrait bust of Zel muttering his opinion about something to Rezo is meant to capture that :3
