If you think this is not likely to ever occur, then you should broaden your conceptualization of a complex pair of characters past that which conveniently gratifies fanservice or maintains that Lau and Ranmao are mere creepy, comedic drug addicts. Try harder, fandom. Look closer.

Someone who loses his/her innocence far too young is not always prone to opposing or disdaining the creation of more innocence. On the contrary, it may be precisely what that person needs to heal old wounds.

Also, I just enjoy stretching a character's ic-ness to its limit, but still making it convincing.
