The other night I rp'ed Lady Loki with

and she stayed up till like 5 am last night doodling the way that I depicted Loki, playing a prank on Tony Stark:

This is my idea of a "young" (films age) Loki in female form as per the Marvel comics. Went a little crazy with this one, will have a tamer portrait shortly, possibly half-length.

I have a pretty distinctive set of headcanons about Lady Loki. I love the idea of Loki shape shifting into a woman, but I am a bit selective about the way that the comics portray her.
If there's anything I love about Loki as a character and mythological entity, it's his gender-unspecific identity, his freedom to change gender at will. It's the fact that he takes his mother's name as a surname and declares himself a matrilineal descendant. It's the fact that Loki is the "mother of all monsters," and has been a mother in the literal sense at least four times. It's the fact that magic and intellectual cunning are "female" attributes in Old Norse culture, and Loki is also a god of androgynous identity. As a feminist I eat that shit up, frankly. I really do.
Loki (c) Stan Lee and Marvel, and is a figure in Norse mythology.
