Description

FULL VIEW PLEASE. DETAILS ARE WORTH THE WAIT.

Based on lyrics from the most moving and bittersweet (mainly sweet) love song I've heard in a long time, sent to me by the fantabulous :iconfiedael: in a Xellos and Filia CD mixer she made me. It's one of their definitive songs, from his POV, musing about past sins, realities, compatibility, what is worth romance, and how sometimes we just know that we have met that person who grips the other side of our soul, and no matter what we do, it's to them we'll return and it's them we exalt as true love.

I am ONLY illustrating ONE verse because the rest of it actually sounds like it is a description of an abusive relationship (something I don't support, nor that I see in XelFi done RIGHT). The last two verses are great though and can be taken in a much more healthy light (sorry Lily! XD;;; I found an interview interpretation of the lyrics and the first two verses are kinda bad and not something I'd support....but the last one is great! XD).

I owe my life to the talented Natsuki Takaya, creator of Fruits Basket, once again for an incredible pose. Facial expressions/styles are my own. Original designs for the characters Xellos Metallium and Filia Ul Copt are (c) Hajime Kanzaka and Rui Araizumi.

Yes, the open chunks are deliberate. I will be putting in pieces of paper with the lyrics, either handwritten or word processed in cursive.

Lyrics (will post again in the final product, which may or may not be colored):

"Oh, my Augustine, Augustine
Oh, is this forever, ever?
Oh, oh
Sweet Augustine, Augustine
What does this mean for us?

Oh, my Augustine, Augustine.
Oh, is this forever, ever?
Oh, oh
Sweet Augustine, Augustine
Or do we kill this one tonight?

And now come the tears, heavy and hot
As it comes clear, this is all we got
As I hold you to my bed
Like a cancer, or a curse
Now be my loving nurse
As we fall back into the impossible dream "
