Sohma Akito from Fruits Basket by Takaya Natsuki. Somewhat related to my fanfiction "Not My Mother's Hair." Akito finds herself gradually more and more emotionally released from the burden of being some cold, distant, separate Zodiac Curse Jade Empress goddess as she seeks, and receives, forgiveness from each family member that she has injured. This picture comes from the idea of the yearly New Year's dance that a member of the Sohma Family always performs. Here, Akito has finally volunteered, even though it is a breech of traditional etiquette for the House Head, to dance for her family. This picture is loosely inspired by a screenshot from the breathtaking film "Memoirs of a Geisha."

This is because over half of the users who visit my gallery seem incapable of the common courtesy of offering useful constructive critique of the art, REGARDLESS of personal views of characters and plots within a given fandom's canon.
