Ren and Akito storyboard, FB

This is a POSSIBLE STORYBOARD for a finished manga-style page. I will probably never finish it but I thought I might as well share it. Crit if you wish, but with the understanding that I doubt I will ever return to my fanart once the schoolyear at uni starts back up.

Akito Sohma, the former antagonist of Fruits Basket/Furuba (if you have read up to the very most recent Japanese release of the manga, you know what I mean by "former," as Akito's character has been rather remarkably redeemed), is physically attacked by her mother Ren Sohma, the jealous, cruel maid of Sohma House who married the last individual bearing the full brunt of the Sohma curse, Akito's kindly but weak late father Akira. While Ren yanks on her child's hair with cold contempt, Akito remembers some of the more hateful things that Ren has psychologically instilled over the years. Shigure Sohma steps in at the final panel to calm Ren--now there's a sick little love triangle (again, you have to have read all of the manga).

SPOILER: Since the issue that reveals Aki's true gender has been released for almost a year now, I feel it safe to point out that Aki has certain obvious female anatomical components, lol, because she is indeed a woman that Ren raised as a man because Ren was always jealous of her late husband's affections of ANY kind towards ANY woman aside herself, even their own daughter--from Aki's birth. What a bitch, lol.
