Well. I decided to join the curious new club of "Poor Draco Picture Makers." Although I already felt sorry for him and sensed he was under undue pressures while the rest of you said he was just pure trash but no need to gloat, right? Heh.
I worked on this only for a couple hourlong sittings, so I am not sure I did the expression on both their faces justice (lol poor Harry's like OMGWTF? *AWKWARDNESS* heh) . I will probably do the same indentical scene in photorealistic black and white, but I also wanted to do this childrens-book-illustration sort of colored cartoony version. I plan to try and illustrate key visual moments from this entire two pages of the chapter "Sectumsempra," hence the pic title. Yes, Draco is meant to look almost ghoulish because of an earlier description of his appearance by Rowling (poor kid!! ) :

"Was it his imagination, or did Malfoy, like Tonks, look thinner? Certainly he looked paler; his skin still had that grayish tinge..there was no air of smugness, excitement, or superiority..." page 474. And also "Malfoy did, after all, look a little ill. This was the first time Harry had seen Malfoy up close for ages; he now saw that Malfoy had dark shadows under his eyes and a distinctly grayish tinge to his skin." page 321.

Gah. *hugs Draco...*
