I'm scared to death that my fandom for Slayers, namely for that popular yet controversial couple Xelloss and Filia, is waning, so I forced myself to draw them the other night based loosely on an rpg with and I am going to try to refine it once university is out for the summer (before I go to summer school to pick up my third language, that is, lmao).
Basically Filia's son Val has been kidnapped by a resurrected Hellmaster Fibrizzo and Xelloss is caught between two interests--saving his own neck and doing Fibrizzo's bidding, since Zelas Metallium has been forced to loan him out to the Hellmaster a second time, or saving Val from the jealous Hellmaster and pleasing Filia. Ever a negotiator and bullshitter, Xelloss is able to wiggle Val out of danger, though not without some bruises. Filia expresses her gratitude amorously. Yay! lol.
Xelloss and Filia (c) Hajime Kanzaka, though done in a more Natsuki Takaya style.
It is IMMATERIAL TO ME what your pairing preferences are in Slayers. Don't waste your time or mine flaming me. Discuss THE ARTWORK ITSELF, NOT THE FANDOM, or you will be REPORTED and BANNED. Thank you.
Yay loooves!!!! WuWu!!!! Sorry to hear that people feel the need to tell you they don't like your stuff due to the pairing... Their loss I guess...
Random thought here, I was doing a search on Filia/Xellos stuff and you had at least two or three images on each page of the search.... A-mazing!! lol You are 'teh' awesome!!! lol

There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
