The work in this gallery comprises my most serious, effortful, and self-reflective. Much of it was done in my undergraduate years at Miami University of Oxford. Some was done in my free time after entering graduate school in art history at Case. All of it is my most professional effort, so PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING ME A CONSTRUCTIVE CRITIQUE. Thank you! Contents: psychologically oriented, combining elements of Abstract Expressionism, Surrealism, and postmodern pastiche. Some illustrative works. Mostly at least partially figurative. The human body and face as well as the operations of the human psyche and modes of human communication, political issues related to the welfare of women and children, and autobiographical pieces, are my subject matter. I do not believe in art for art's sake. Art must have salient messages for the time in which it is steeped, aimed at broadening the intellectual, cultural, and emotional spectrum of the audience.
